Broadwater and Wills Dominate NFAA Outdoor
September 05, 2010
Yankton, South Dakota was the host site for the NFAA Outdoor National Championships. Scott Archery/CBE pro staff member Jesse Broadwater was looking for his third consecutive championship. Jesse, who recently made the switch to Scott releases and CBE sights had been shooting very strong, but he knew with the level of today s competition that it takes an incredible performance to win. When the dust settled in Yankton after five days of shooting, the word incredible couldn t even describe what Jesse had done. Jesse, shooting his Longhorn Pro Advantage release, shot an amazing 1705 out of a possible 1708. He recorded a near perfect 559 Field round as well as a record tying, perfect 560 Hunter. If that wasn t enough Jesse also broke the existing animal round record with an amazing 586. Fellow Scott/CBE pro staffer Shane Wills, also shooting a Longhorn Pro Advantage did some very impressive shooting of his own to take second place honors with a total score of 1699. Jesse and Shane are recent additions to the Scott/CBE family and we are proud to have them on board. We would like to congratulate both of them on an amazing performance.
